GuessIt! Version 1.1

The goal of the game is you have to guess the right pattern of symbols (secret code). You will get a hint for each guess you've made. The hint consists of 2 numbers. (the two small numbers on the left of your guess) The upper number shows how many symbols are in the correct position but it doesn't tell you which one. The lower number tell you how many symbols are in the secret code but their position are not correct.

You can play the game alone (1 Player mode), with your friend (2 Players mode) or against the computer (1 Player against PV).

How to play?

In the main screen, you will see 3 buttons on the top. From left to right:

• Settings(=) go to the Settings screen.
• New start a new game with a new secret code.
• Tools the standard Tools button of PocketViewer.

The middle area is the actual game area. Guesses and hints will be listed here. In two players mode, player 1 uses the left part and player 2 or the computer uses the right one. The current score is on the top left corner.

On the bottom of the screen, there are buttons for symbols and OK button. To make a guess, just click on the symbols. You can change the position of cursor by clicking the desired position in the game area or by moving the Action Wheel up and down. After you've finished, press OK.

You have maximum 20 guesses in 1 player mode, 10 guesses for each player in 2 players and computer mode. If the maximum is reached, the secret code will be shown at the bottom of the screen. You can start a new game with New button.

Setting screen

• Game mode The game mode.
• Symbol Number of symbols used to generate the secret code. (5 to 10 symbols are possible)
• Code length Number of position of the secret code. (3 to 6 positions) Warning! The longer the secret code, the longer the PocketViewer will need to generate a guess in computer mode. Maybe 1 to 5 minutes for 6 positions.
• Symbol set Choose a symbol set. Currently there are 2 symbol sets available.
